PRC releases list of 40K new nurses, topnotcher from Western Visayas State University

MANILA, Philippines — The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Thursday that 40,692 out of 45,192 or 90.04 percent of examinees passed the Nurses Licensure Examination held this November.

Results were released 15 working days following the last day of the examinations.

Two examinees from West Visayas State University (WVSU) in La Paz, Iloilo City topped the examinations.

1. Johannah Marie Gerardo Acevedo and George Wilson Tan Escordial – WVSU-La Paz (93.80 percent)

2. Mariella Theony Reyes Medina – St. Louis University; Carl Andrew Tella-In Soliva – University of St. La Salle (93.60 percent)

3. Tracey Faye Rosagardon Abellon – Ateneo de Zamboanga University; Khyla Shane Jordan Acab – Silliman University; Charles Jasper Tan Lim – University of the Philippines-Manila (93.40 percent)

With a score of 93 percent, 23 passers were ranked 5th, while 20 passers clinched 6th place with a score of 92.80 percent.

Meanwhile, 25 passers reached 7th place with a score of 92.60 percent, followed by 49 passers finishing 8th with a score of 92.40 percent.
